Dr.ir. Kees Boersma is Associate Professor and research manager at the VU University Amsterdam in the group of Culture, Organization and Management. His research interest is in ‘science and technology studies’, ‘business history’, and in ‘organizational culture and power’. He published widely on R&D history, organizational learning, enterprise-wide systems, and organizational safety culture. His publications appeared amongst others in journals as Enterprise and Society, History and Technology, Human Relations, Business Process Management Journal and Journal of Strategic Information Systems. Since 2009 he participates in the EU COST Action programme ‘Living in Surveillance Societies’. He is teacher in the courses Organizational Politics, Organizational and Management Theory and Technology and Culture. Details can be found at his website.
