Biography and research interests

Topic of my doctoral dissertation was "Economic Crime in Area of Banks Activity". To prepare this dissertation I made researches, among others, in European Institute for Crime Prevention and Control Affiliated with the United Nations in Helsinki, Max-Planck-Institut fur auslandisches und internationales Strafrecht in Freiburg, Univeristy of Cambridge and Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (Univeristy of London).
At present I prepare my habilitation thesis on topic: "Criminal Law Aspects of Economic Corruption". I am going to prepare big monograph on criminal aspects of  corruption in area of economic activity. I would like to describe manifestations and conditions of connections between economic activity and corruption. After presentation of picture of situation in real life, I will present “law in books” – state of law legislation in area of corruption and make estimation of criminal law provisions in context of economic corruption control. This work will be written from Polish point of view, however placed in international aspect.
My research on corruption are parallel to my research on money laundering, especially on problems of criminal responsibility of employees of financial intermediates.
