Broad research interests are institutions and applied institutional analysis, in particular in the field of economics of corruption.  Participated in research projects on social-economic aspects of Croatia's accession to the EU: such as institutional convergence, public sector policies, life-satisfaction, tobacco economics, transition and regional development issues.

 

Recent work includes:

• assessments of the role of ICT in seizing corruption
• surveillance issues and good governance
• methodology development to overcome perceived risk of surveillance in collecting sensitive information
• surveys on public sector integrity
• anti-corruption policy
