Most of my research work involves the domain of Human Rights. More precisely, I specialised in the European Protection of Human Rights and the European Convention. My research in this domain is best reflected in the monographies and articles that I published so far. Moreover, I did a very elaborated research on the Right to a Fair Trial, such as it is guaranteed by the provisions of article 6 of the Convention and also the case law of the Court in Strasbourg. This study consisted the fundament of my Phd thesis. Besides my published work whereas Human Rights are concerned, I also teach this subject at the University. As an assisting professor, I was the coordinator of various teams of students who participated at international contests on this subject. More recently, I began teaching Constitutional Law. Presently, most of my research activities involve this matter as I am currently writing a monography on Constitutional Law. All in all, all my research activities were aimed at studying the manner in which the Romanian domestic courts have managed to apply the international legal provisions whereas Human Rights are concerned.
