Elspeth Guild is professor of European Immigration Law at the Radboud University of Nijmegen. She is also senior research fellow at the Brussels based think tank, the Centre for European Policy Studies and a partner at the London law firm Kingsley Napley. She has researched and published widely in the area of EU immigration, asylum and criminal justice. Her interest in surveillance comes from the increasing surveillance in immigration control.
