George S. Katrougalos is a Greek constitutionalist and human rights lawyer. (1985 Law School of Athens, 1987 LLM Université Paris-I Panthéon Sorbonne, 1991 Ph.D. Sorbonne). He is currently Associate Professor of Public Law at Democritos University of Greece. His research interests include human rights, with special emphasis on social rights, comparative constitutional law and institution building. He has taught of given lectures as invited speaker at New York University (2007), London School of Economics (2008), Université d’Orléans (2001), Roskilde University (1994-1995). He has published in Greek, American, European and Russian legal journals. Among his monographs are:
